The Augmented Reality experience will be hosted on a website, meaning it is not necessary for viewers to download an app. They just need to scan a QR code to open the web-based experience.

Food Scan Requirements

low levels of reflectivity (not shiny, sparkly, or glossy)
-
must retain its shape for an extended period of time (can't melt, such as ice cream)
-
it is ideal if the item is not plated, but if it is, must be scanned on a matte plate
-
cannot be completely dark (scanner won't interpret data points if the item is dark or black)

Desserts: Croissants, cake slices, cookies, pie slices, churros, cannolis, cupcakes

Dinner Items: Hamburgers, hotdogs, sandwiches, arepas, chicken wings, fish, lasagna, bread
